Welcome to DreamLab! We are a collective of free range designers, researchers, architects and anthropologists – possibility oriented thinkers at multiple scales. We are endlessly curious about the role of design in the human journey and social context and how it can inspire new ways of thinking, and doing.
Human centered design was originally intended to address the specific needs of distinct populations, now, humanity centered design is a bigger idea. It is relational, collective and collaborative and by its nature, innovative. It's also necessarily focused on social impact and positive change. Our practice is holistic and engages audiences and individuals through creative, qualitative inquiry through authentic connections and conversations.
Our work and skills range from designing digital to three dimensional environments. It all starts with deep listening and engagement to inform design solutions whether for a website, a stage, an urban park or city center. We see design as a tool for transformation, awareness and change and we are committed to social justice, inclusive and trauma responsive design principles.
